Program Overview
Digital Initiatives and Scholarly Communication services supports new models of scholarly communications, copyright services, the showcasing of Portland State University’s intellectual output via open access repository services, as well as the digitization of unique historical materials. This is achieved largely through the institutional repository PDXScholar (pdxscholar.library.pdx.edu). Major publishing initiatives include the production of the undergraduate student journals and open textbook publishing. The Library is committed to playing an active role in the changing landscape of scholarly publishing and supports the ideals of the open access movement.
