Program Overview
The Library has historically published, in print, specialized monographs on topics related to the University or Library. We publish ETDs electronically, and provide digital editions and original scholarly interpretations, in support of research and instruction, with a special emphasis on the American South.

Plans for expansion/future directions: New this year: We are undertaking a project with the UNC Press and the Institute for the Study of the American South to jointly produce a new series of short monographs in the range of 20,000-40,000 words to be published electronically. Estimated output is initially one or tow titles a year, with first titles appearing in 2015. Collaborating with researchers on archiving, preserving, and publishing research data; collaborating with UNC Press for print-on-demand publications.View All Entries
