Program Overview

Mission/Objectives:
Edinburgh Diamond, a service provided by Edinburgh University Library, uses Open Monograph Press (OMP) and Open Journal Systems (OJS) to provide a hosting service for diamond open access books and journals published by University of Edinburgh academic staff and student groups. We also provide book and journal hosting as a shared service governed by the Scottish Confederation of University and Research Libraries (SCURL).

Last Year:
We grew our book hosting service and as of January 2023 host seven books.
Future Plans:
We plan to further grow our book hosting service, and internally promote Edinburgh Diamond to raise awareness of the service among staff, academics, and students.
