Additional Information

Last Year:
In 2023, Cardiff University Press (CardiffUP) added two new journal titles to its portfolio: the European Journal of Microwave Energy (EJME) and Agoriad: a Journal of Spatial Theory (Agoriad). The inaugural issues of these journals are due for publication later in 2024. CardiffUP has also been piloting a new and innovative publication process for volumes of conference proceedings, following an increase in demand for this type of publication. The pilot exercise is close to completion, with publication of two volumes expected in spring 2024.
Future Plans:
The Editorial Board of CardiffUP is keen to develop its activities in a rapidly-changing academic environment. In addition to providing more support for potential and existing authors/editors from Cardiff University, experimenting with new publication processes, seeking new sources of funding and promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of its work, it is now focusing on how to integrate the Press more fully in Cardiff University's research infrastructure, becoming a vital part of the support that the University offers to its researchers.
