Program Overview

Mission/Objectives:
As the publishing arm of the Technical University of Munich, TUM.University Press supports TUM members in publishing their research results. The range of publications is based on TUM's canon of subjects and reflects the diversity of research, teaching and history at TUM. TUM.University Press is a not-for-profit service of the University Library. It provides advice to authors and ensures that publications are uniform and visually attractive. The range of publications includes journals, dissertations, conference proceedings and textbooks from all disciplines represented at TUM. In line with the needs of the scientific community, books can be published both digitally and in print as print-on-demand or production run. Open Access publication provides readers worldwide with unrestricted access to the work; print titles can be obtained from both traditional bookshops and online booksellers. This facilitates broad visibility and citation of publications for the international research community.
