Program Overview

Mission/Objectives:
The objectives of our publishing activities encompass two main initiatives: (1) The Open Touro Initiative aims to support faculty members across the Touro system in adopting, adapting, and authoring open educational resources to enhance their teaching practices. (2) Touro Scholar, Touro's institutional repository, serves as a platform dedicated to advancing open access to scholarly research. It hosts a diverse range of open educational resources created by Touro faculty, in-house student journals, theses and dissertations, institutional newsletters, and other academic materials.
