Mission/Objectives:
Fully funded by the University of Vermont, an R1-designated research institution, the UVM Press uses a diamond open access model to ensure free readership, free authorship, and immediate online, global access to all its published titles. UVM Press books and journals elevate scholarship that promotes understanding of planetary health, healthy environments, and healthy communities. Our journal titles include the Journal of Black Military Studies, the Journal of Ecological Engineering Design, and Middle Grades Review. Additional Information

Last Year:
UVM Press added two journals, Middle Grades Review and the Journal of Black Military Studies, in 2025, joining the our first publication, the Journal of Ecological Engineering Design.
Future Plans:
UVM Press will be publishing its first diamond open access book titles in 2026.
