Preservation One Pagers

To support the community in preserving their publications, members of LPC’s Digital Preservation Working Group have created a series of short documents (“one-pagers”) intended for Library publishers to learn more about preservation and preservation services.

The one-pagers are available in two formats: HTML and PDF.

Step Zero – Creating a Preservation Inventory

The goal of the one pager is to have you think broadly about all the content created by your publishing unit, whether it is available for the public or only internal, and whether it is meant to be retained for the long term or is more ephemeral.

The goal of this one pager is to combine what you now know about digital preservation and to look back at your inventory to see what should be included in your digital preservation plan.
