To be included in this list, the position must be located administratively in a library, or report directly to a library-based supervisor. The primary function(s) of the position must directly engage in the creation, dissemination, and/or curation of scholarly, creative, and/or educational works. Administrative positions that do not directly engage in these functions may be included if they include supervisory responsibility primarily for employees who are performing these functions.

Manager, Researcher Information SystemsPosition Available: The expected start date is as soon as possible after the closing date. This is a 100%, twelve-month, Academic Professional appointment.
Responsibilities: The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a collaborative and service-oriented professional for the position of Manager, Researcher Information Systems. The successful candidate will manage and implement a set of researcher information systems, including a researcher profile system (based on the Elsevier Pure Experts Portal – formerly Scival Experts) and a researcher identifier system (ORCID), and will work in close collaboration with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR), the campus academic technology unit (CITES), the University’s administrative computing unit (AITS), college and departmental research officers, and colleagues within the University Library. Reporting to the Coordinator of the campus IDEALS institutional repository , this position sits within the Library’s growing program of research support services.
Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree; demonstrated experience managing large, complex web-based projects with multiple stakeholders; supervisory experience; demonstrated ability to work independently; demonstrated ability to meet production deadlines and goals; strong oral and written communication skills; demonstrated professional experience supporting research systems in an academic setting; an understanding of the diversity of the scholarly communication system within an academic setting.  See https://jobs.illinois.edu for preferred qualifications.
